George Martin Re-Elected Chair of Earthjustice Board of Trustees
(Philadelphia) –Martin Law founding partner George Martin was re-elected Chair of the Board of Trustees for Earthjustice, the world’s largest nonprofit environmental law firm. Martin has been a member of the Board of Trustees for ten years and is excited to Chair this organization he cares about deeply for another year.
Martin founded the workers’ compensation firm Martin Law LLC in 1979. He is a past president of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the first workers’ comp attorney to hold this position. Mr. Martin was appointed by the NFL Players Association and the Professional Hockey Players Association as a workers’ comp panel attorney. George is among one of the first attorneys to become a certified specialist in PA Workers’ Compensation by the PA Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the PA Supreme Court. He is the current Chair of the Planning Commission of West Vincent Township. He is the founder and Chair of the George and Miriam Martin Foundation which focuses on river and watershed conservation.
