8/11/15 – Amit Shah Named Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section
(Philadelphia, PA) – Martin Law partner, Amit Shah, has been named Co-Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section for 2017. Shah will act as Co-Chair elect in 2016, before serving as Co-Chair in 2017.
This position has been previously held by Martin Law partners George Martin in 1995 and Al Carlson in 2008.
Shah became a partner at Martin Law in 2015 and is a certified specialist in Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation by the PA Bar Association’s Section on Workers’ Compensation Law as authorized by the PA Supreme Court. Mr. Shah was a speaker at the Continuing Legal Education program titled “Workers’ Compensation Issues Involving the Large Employer.” Mr. Shah is an ex officio member of the Public Interest Law Center of Philadelphia. Shah currently serves as a committee member of the newly formed Diversity and Inclusion sub-committee of the Workers’ Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
