5/28/14 – Martin Attorneys to Teach at PA workers’ Comp Conference

(Philadelphia, PA) Martin Law partners Joseph C. Huttemann and Alfred J. Carlson will present educational sessions at the 13^th Annual Workers’ Compensation Conference on June 2-3 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center. The event is hosted by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry’s Bureau of Workers’ Compensation.

The conference features updates on the state’s workers’ compensation program from a number of industries, including legal, medical and vocational. Continuing education credits for attending are awarded by several professional bodies: the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, the PA Association of Rehabilitation Professionals and Preferred Systems, Inc.

Both Huttemann and Carlson will participate in “Mental Squared: Mental/Mental Injuries,” an advanced course covering the current status of the law in mental stress causing mental disability cases, and Huttemann will co-present “Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs),” another advanced session reviewing the new Pennsylvania statue on PEOs and the difference between PEOs and temporary staffing agencies.
